OUTeast is an exciting new film festival in Halifax, presenting the very best in queer independent cinema from around the world.
When Fogo discovered that pink popcorn had never been used to brand a queer film festival, it was a glorious epiphany. We took the idea and ran. For the program launch, pink popcorn with googly eyes were distributed to the community. From then on, the brand took a life of its own. Pink popcorn was seen and photographed all over the city. It went viral in a big way.
This unique brand immediately paved the pink carpet for OUTeast's fans and admirers. The consistent and far reach of their identity helped leverage the support of corporate sponsors for their first of many years to come.
I've never experienced such a true creative collaboration with a design firm - and what we've ended up with is a brand that truly represents our company, our individual personalities, and our mandate. I couldn't be happier. ~ Andria Wilson
