Bring art to people and let it change them.

I creative directed a transformative three-season awareness campaign for the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia during my time with the Twistbits by Trampoline agency.

I coordinated, directed, and motivated account managers, strategists, designers, copywriters, and developers to execute an inspiring multi-channel campaign celebrating art and community. My passion for communication and building relationships with clients translated into great experiences for the Art Gallery’s audience in smart, honest, and measurable ways.

As a creative leader, I believe in boosting my teammates because when people feel supported and ideas win, everyone is invested in the success of their colleagues. This drives successful teams, successful brands, and successful campaigns, like this one for AGNS.

The following work was completed by a broad team of people, where I concepted and provided creative direction, conceptual thinking, strategy, and leadership. My talented team executed this campaign under my leadership and I was lucky to be able to get into the action as well, to contribute to the writing and design.

Art does not show people what to do, yet engaging with a good work of art can connect you to your senses, body, and mind. It can make the world felt. And this felt feeling may spur thinking, engagement, and even action.

Art allows us to bring our minds to life, to give life and meaning to our own lives. Everyone’s perception of reality can be different from one another. It is an extraordinary thing how similar but different we are from each other. Therefore, art serves as puzzle pieces for the answers we are so desperately looking for. Whether those answers come from questioning ourselves or the environment that surrounds us.

— Multi-platform Campaign.

The team created a multi-season campaign for the main 4 segments across 6 channels (pay-per-click, social, website, email, content/SEO, and word of mouth). Our design and narrative were consistent across paid and free channels. My role was to guide the collateral and provide creative direction. We delivered over 50 unique creative assets within a 4 week period. 11 people worked on this project. It was a lot of hard work, but worth it! The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia was happy with the work and results.
